At the E60 motorway there is a warning sign against bears crossing. This sign can be seen at the city Azuga.

The mountain range of the Southern Carpathians is in this area of Transylvania, and in the forested area there are many bears.

For years, it has been a problem in Romania that bears come out of the forests and enter villages and even cities. They are experienced as a real threat to people and animals when they are hungry looking for food.
Romania is the country in Europe with the largest population of brown bears
