The first, demolished station building was built in 1861 from half-timbered walls, and in the same year a railway network was connected to Torun from Bydgoszcz. In 1874, in place of the previous station building, a new one was built, which still stands today.
Renovation of the railway station began in April 2014 and lasted until November 2015.
