The Saanichton Village Association developed the Saanichton Bike n' Ride along with multiple partners, with the grand opening happening on June 4, 2022. The amenities include covered bike racks, benches, a bike repair station, and an E-bike charging station.
The charging station is mounted on the side of a pole at the northwest corner of the park, about 4 feet above the ground. It consists of two 120V/15A 5-15R outlets, as well as one USB type-A and one USB type-C port which share a 2A capacity, enclosed in an unlocked protective cover. The station is free to use with no time limit.
