In the 50's and 60's it became common to see these signs in the Portuguese countryside small towns. There were several brands advertising: Firestone, Michelin, Schweppes (a beverage brand), Nitratos do Chile (fertilizers) and Mabor General, of which this is an example.
The sign was placed on the wall of a townhouse, now abandoned.
