Batman AKA the Gotham Guardian, The Caped Crusaider, or The Dark Knight all refer to the fictisous superhero alter ego of Bruce Wayne. Batman was created by artist Bob Kayne and writer Bill Finger in 1939 and has been a mainstay in the Dective Comics (DC), books, cartoons, TV series, and movies. Actors that have portrayed Batman have been Adam West, Ben Affleck, George Clooney, Christian Bale, Val Kilmer, and arguably the best batman on screen was played by Michael Keaton.
