"Es una casa entre medianeras, de planta y dos pisos. La categoría tipológica en los orígenes sería posiblemente la de un pequeño palacio o una casa señorial.

La fachada tiene una gran homogeneidad y neutralidad. Los agujeros se presentan dispuestos en unas franjas verticales de composición y orden. En la fachada principal hay bandas verticales donde están las aberturas, sin alineación alguna. Éstas tienen diferentes tamaños y proporciones, aunque todas tienen un claro componente vertical. La fachada no es simétrica respecto a un eje central, pero lo parece, ya que el gran agujero que forma la puerta principal y el balcón domina sobre el resto, y éste sí está centrado en la fachada. La fachada está enlucida y pintada. En la fachada lateral todos los agujeros se presentan dispuestos ordenadamente en unas franjas verticales.

Cabe destacar la puerta y el balcón, con dintel y jamba de piedra, todas las demás ventanas, también realizadas de piedra y algunas de ladrillo, la barandilla realizada con hierro forjado y piezas de cerámica, así como la bóveda de piedra que hay en el interior.

Es muy probable que los inicios de la construcción se remonten a los siglos XV-XVI . El nombre popular que toma la casa de Cal Botons se debe a que la antigua propietaria llevaba un traje con muchos botones."
