La experiencia particular fue el desayuno típico catalán "Mongetas amb botifarra", judias con butifarra, al lado de la chimenea, todo un regalo para los sentidos.
"Este restaurante de Santa Maria de Palautordera se encuentra situado en un lugar muy tranquilo y agradable rodeado por los bosques del Montseny. Les Sureres es un restaurante rústico que se dedica a la cocina casera donde el personal se caracteriza por su rapidez, atención y amabilidad.
Les Sureres propone un menú diario que hace las delicias de todos los que lo prueban. Este menú varía cada día y permite escoger entre 6 primeros y 6 segundos y, además, incluye pan, vino y postres. Para que os podáis hacer una idea de los platos que puede incluir el menú diremos que algunos de los más aclamados que lo han ido configurando son: los mejillones al vapor y a la marinera, las manitas de cerdo, los huevos a la mallorquina, la carrillada, la escudella y los fideos a la marinera. El fin de semana la propuesta es diferente, se cambia el menú por el servicio de carta y, cabe destacar que, cuando es temporada se hacen unas buenas calçotades y carnes a la brasa.
Aquellos que seáis curiosos por naturaleza o a los que os guste hacer un poco de ejercicio habréis ido a parar al lugar perfecto. Santa Maria de Palautordera ha habilitado 2 rutas en bicicleta y 9 itinerarios de paseos y excursiones a pie para descubrir el patrimonio cultural del pueblo, que está repleto de elementos históricos y artísticos. Asimismo, también podréis ir a visitar el Arboretum; un espacio donde encontraréis ejemplares de cada una de las 80 especies leñosas que hay en el macizo del Montseny y que tiene por objetivo dar a conocer el patrimonio natural de la zona, cosa que le ha valido la catalogación de Reserva de la Biosfera por parte de la UNESCO."
