[FIN] Pitkämäen kaupunginosaan on nopeasti nousemassa aivan uusi asuinalue. Pukkila niminen alue on saanut nimensä siinä pitkään sijainneen Pukkilan laattatehtaan mukaan. Alueella on jäljellä vielä yksi vanha tehdaskiinteistö. Sen tulevaisuus on vielä epäselvää, voidaanko siitä tehdä asuntoja. Alueen uudet kerrostalot tulevat olemaan kahdeksan kerroksisia tai matalampia.
Pukkila mainostaa itseään vihreänä asuinalueena. Sen pitäisi olla etupäässä markkinoitu autottomille ihmisille. Rakentamisen tavoitteena on saada kohteeseen LEED Platinum -ympäristösertifikaatti. LEED-sertifioinnissa huomiota kiinnitetään laajasti rakennuksen aiheuttamaan ympäristökuormitukseen ja erityisesti energiatehokkuuteen, sijaintiin ja vedenkäyttöön.
[EN] A brand new residential area is quickly emerging in the Pitkämäki district. The area called Pukkila got its name from the Pukkila tile factory that was located there for a long time. There is one more old factory property left in the area. Its future is still unclear, whether it can be turned into apartments. The new apartment buildings in the area will be eight stories or lower.
Pukkila advertises itself as a green residential area. It should be primarily marketed to people without a car. The goal of the construction is to get the LEED Platinum environmental certificate for the site. In LEED certification, attention is paid extensively to the environmental load caused by the building and especially to energy efficiency, location and water use.
