(DE) Ein Fledermauskasten an unserem Wohnhaus auf dem Frenkenweg in Nettetal. Wir haben ihn dort im Jahr 2021 auf ca. 6m Höhe aufgehängt, damit die kleinen Tierchen bequem ein- und ausfliegen können. Wir haben uns bewusst für die Südseite des Hauses entschieden, damit die Morgensonne ein wenig wärmen und die Mittagssonne es nicht zu heiß macht. Es hat ein paar Monate gedauert, bis die ersten Gäste eingezogen sind. Jetzt freuen wir uns immer über frischen Fledermaus Poo-Poo auf dem Boden unter dem Kasten.

(EN) A bat box at our house on Frenkenweg in Nettetal. We hung it there in 2021 at a height of approx. 6m so that the little animals can easily fly in and out. We deliberately chose the south side of the house so that the morning sun would warm it up a little and the midday sun wouldn't make it too hot. It took a few months for the first guests to move in. Now we are always happy to see fresh bat poo-poo on the floor under the box.
