I had visited Eberwien Park, for waymarking, and went on my merry way. Then when researching item for the text of the waymarks I found there, I discovered the Boy Scout had built a bat box on the barn.
I went back to get the photos, and could not find it. Some park employees were in the barn, so I asked them. They came out and started searching - turns out a half hour latter, one of them noticed the bat box on the side of the barn just under the roof
"Walking around the park, you may have seen the Bat Box installed on the east side of the barn at Eberwein Park. The Bat Box allow bats, sometimes hundreds, to sleep so that they are not exposed to the elements. The overall goal is to attract the bats so that they will feed on mosquitoes and other bugs. The Bat Box was created and installed by local Boy Scout Troops" ~ Eberwien park
