"En Corcoya, pequeña pedanía de Badolatosa (Sevilla), situada unos 6 km de ésta, se encuentra la ermita de la Fuensanta, rodeada de un paraje de gran belleza. A los pies de esta construcción se encuentra la fuente que le da nombre, también conocida como Fuente de la Ermita.

Consiste en un pequeño manantial que drena el agua almacenada en un pequeño bloque de calizas permeables que flotan sobre las arcillas y margas triásicas de carácter impermeable. Surge en la zona de intersección de la superficie freática y el terreno. No existen datos de caudal de este manantial, su caudal, en todo caso no supera los 0,2 l/s. Tampoco existen datos de calidad del agua drenada por el mismo. Muy cerca del manantial podemos encontrar el túnel en yesos del arroyo Pontón, verdadera joya geológica. En el entorno del manantial, además del olivo se pueden encontrar otro tipo de especies como las choperas, los pinos, el álamo blanco y negro junto a aneas, carrizos, juncos o eucaliptos, estos últimos tan propios de la ribera del río Genil. Además, se puede encontrar en la zona de monte bajo, un gran número de pequeños arbustos y especies de vegetación mediterránea, entre las que destaca el lentisco y el romero."
