In the center of the historic district, but a non contributing structure because of its age. Built in 1986.

"Wetter, Melvin G. “Mel”, former mayor of St. Charles, MO, of Saint Charles, MO, died on Monday, November 23, 2015, at the age of 86. Beloved husband of Kathleen "Bee" Wetter; cherished father of Brad (Miriam) Wetter, Kathy (Larry) Jacobs, Sherri (the late James Joseph "Jim" Wetter, Sr.) Wetter, David (Lori) Wetter, and Frank (Lauren) Wetter; devoted grandfather of 14 and great-grandfather of 21; dear brother of Jeannette Wappelhorst, Kenneth Wetter, and Caroline "Dolly" Rothermich.

"Mel was preceded in death by his son, James Joseph "Jim" Wetter, Sr., his grandson, David J Wetter, Jr., and his brothers, Jack Wetter and Norbert "Buzz" Wetter." ~ Baue Funeral Home
