This corner marker indicates the boarder between three of Australia's states. It is located in the Simpson Desert. It is 174 kilometres west of the small town of Birdsville. It is commonly visited when crossing the sandy Simpson Desert. It is much too hot to visit in summertime so the winter days are best.
On New Year's Eve, you can celebrate three different New Year as the marker separates three time zones
