In Stadsparken there is an area with a beautiful and fragrant rose garden.
The rose garden was established in 1997 and is built in curved beds around a centre. Along one side there is also a pergola with climbing roses.
There are different types of roses and the selection is in many different colours. Of rose species, there are about 90 historic roses and about 70 modern roses, ranging from low-growing to large-flowered roses. There are also 10 roses in the pergola.
There are information signs by the roses. Here you can read both the history and care instructions for the rose in question.
