Situated in front of the Southern European Task Force (ABN) Headquarters on Caserma Ederle, this memorial is in memory of Italian and American fighters, who made the ultimate sacrifice during the liberation of Italy over 75 years ago. During the period after WWII, the US withdrew their equipment from Austria and moved it to some of the bases in Italy so it is fitting to have a joint memorial in place here.
The monument is roughly 6 feet tall and is crowned at the top with an eternal flame. At the base there is a large SETAF patch. The monument text is in both Italian and English.
