This cairn is approximately 8 feet tall and has a tapered concave/convex shape.The stones are of a medium size and fit together tightly. There is a silver placard attached to the west end of the cairn that reads:
A Station on the
Underground
Railroad.
Tradition says
Eliza Harris
of Uncle Tom's cabin fame
rested here in her
flight to Canada.
The character of Eliza in
Uncle Tom's Cabin was based on this person who stayed in the cabin.
