Erected by the Young Electric sign company in 1952 Wendover Will has been welcoming travelers to Nevada from the state line with Utah. When the sign was new its arm waved and the cigarette in his mouth moved. Wendover Will was moved from his original post when they renamed the State Line Casino to the Wendover Nugget and now is on the road west of town. I only gave this a 4* since the arm no longer waves and the cigarette doeesn't move but he is in a new spot and is looking great.
