This is an abandonded section of the Pennsylvania turnpike. There is some graffiti, which includes a Kokopelli!

This section of road was rerouted in 1968, as the single lane for each direction of travel tunnels were no longer adequate for the traffic. The road has been closed to cars, but is now used for walking and bicycling.
Parking is available near to here off of Route 30 at N 39° 59.995 W 078° 13.685
The abandonded section is 13 miles long and includes two tunnels.
If you wish to travel the entire length, bring snacks, water, and a flashlight. There are no amenities.
