The Gatun Lake Gamboa boat ramp allows access into the Chagres River. The parking lot provides space for dozens of trucks and boat trailers to be parked as the waters of the Gatún Lake are used by ships and vessels transit the Panama Canal. The ramp and parking lot are open full time, seven days a week, free of launching charge.

Tourist note:
The visitors can enjoy fresh fish slided onsite in a improvised table served by local fishermen.
