"Het Elvis Museum is sinds 10 december 2021 onderdeel van het Beatles Museum Alkmaar. Ruim twintig jaar was de collectie van John en René Vis te zien in het Elvis Museum in Culemborg, maar omdat de gezondheid van John verslechterde was het niet mogelijk om het Elvis Museum in Culemborg open te houden. Een collectie waar bijna zestig jaar aan gewerkt was dreigde uiteen te vallen. Een nachtmerrie voor elke verzamelaar. John nam contact op met het Beatles Museum Alkmaar. Na lang onderhandelen besloot het Beatles Museum Alkmaar de collectie van het Elvis Museum in Culemborg in zijn geheel over te nemen en met haar eigen Elvis collecties aan te vullen.
Wat is er te zien?
Het Elvis Museum is een paradijs voor elke Elvis fan. Duizenden items staan uitgestald in de prachtige vitrinekasten en langs de wanden zijn de Elvis lp´s te zien die hij bij leven heeft uitgebracht. Gouden platen, kledingstukken, persoonlijk items, souvenirs, zeldzame platen en gesigneerde items. Het is allemaal aanwezig. De Beatles en Elvis musea doen echt niet voor elkaar onder. Dit moet je gewoon ervaren. Wil je met Elvis op de foto? Geen probleem. In ons museum is het mogelijk. Zeer de moeite waard is een bezoek aan onze Elvis winkel. Met ruim 5000 lp's is onze Elvis winkel zelfs de grootste Elvis platenzaak van Nederland, maar ook de souvenir /cd /dvd winkel is de moeite meer dan waard."

"The Elvis Museum has been part of the Beatles Museum Alkmaar since December 10, 2021. For over twenty years, the collection of John and René Vis was on display in the Elvis Museum in Culemborg, but because John's health deteriorated it was not possible to see the Elvis Museum in Culemborg open. A collection that had been worked on for almost sixty years was in danger of falling apart. A nightmare for every collector. John contacted the Beatles Museum Alkmaar. After long negotiations, the Beatles Museum Alkmaar decided to keep the collection of the Elvis Museum in Culemborg in its entirety and supplemented with its own Elvis collections.
What is there to see?
The Elvis Museum is a paradise for every Elvis fan. Thousands of items are displayed in the beautiful display cabinets and along the walls you can see the Elvis LPs that he released during his lifetime. Gold records, clothing items, personal items, souvenirs, rare records and signed items. It's all there. The Beatles and Elvis museums are truly on par. You simply have to experience this. Would you like to have your picture taken with Elvis? No problem. It is possible in our museum. A visit to our Elvis shop is very worthwhile. With over 5,000 LPs, our Elvis store is even the largest Elvis record store in the Netherlands, but the souvenir/CD/DVD store is also more than worth it."
