Runkesten is a huge boulder in the forest. It has a length of 10 meters, a width of 4 meters and a height of 5 meters. ( 33 x 13 x 16 feet). It weighs 260 tons.
The Runkesten is located on top of a large horizontal rock. It is placed on the rock with a very small area, which can cause the big boulder can rock a little when you push it. And you don't even have to use a lot of muscle to rock it. The large boulder is covered in moss. On one side, the moss looks like an arrow. I wonder if that means; "push here".
The Runkesten can be found about 600 meters inside a forest. However, there are paths that lead to the stone. The Runkesten is surrounded by many other large boulders. They all originate from the ice age over 10,000 years ago where they were brought to the site by the ice. The Runkesten is a protected natural monument
