Railway technology exhibition on 40,000 m² on the site of the Pasewalk railway station and depot, which is no longer in use.
The Pasewalk locomotive shed is not only worth seeing for railway enthusiasts. The semi-circular shed, commissioned in 1896, with 25 beam tracks and a covered area of approx. 6000 m², a functioning turntable, steam locomotives as well as many rail vehicles, trolleys and models await you.
A water tower inaugurated by Kaiser Wilhelm II houses an extensive exhibition of telecommunications and communications technology of the German Reichsbahn. One of the special features is the overnight accommodation in the sleeping cars of the former government train of the GDR - which will give you the feeling of "sleeping a little differently".
