Hotel Cicada is only 3 star hotel, but what a great place to sleep. They are located near to Maritime museum of Mariehamn and there is not long walk to city center.
We stayed there on August -23. Cicada has excellent restaurant with Bar. There is 88 rooms and part of them are with balcony & view to the sea.
Main attraction is large pool! Outside pool located on front yard and it is open during summer months. There is also inside pool with gym and sauna facilities.
If you want to hike, there is two parks: English Park and Badhuspark. Both just in corner of the hotel.
