"Marco Miliário Romano adaptado a pelourinho. Monólito cilíndrico com cerca de 2,15 m de altura por 54 cm de diâmetro e com a seguinte inscrição no topo: 'TI(berius) CLAUUDIUS. CESAR / AUG(ustus) GERMANICUS / PONTIFEX. MAX(imus) IMP(erator) V / CO(n)S(ul) III, TRIB(unicia) POTEST(ate), / III, P(ater) P(atriae) BRACA(ra) / XLII'. Possui pequeno orifício com ferro cravado no interior. Marca a 42 milhas de distância de Braga e foi mandado construir pelo Imperador Claudio quando procedeu a beneficiações na Via IV do itinerário de Antonio.
E ainda ressalta que foi transferido para o local atual em 1680."

EN: "Roman milestone adapted into a pillory. Cylindrical monolith about 2.15 metres high and 54 cm in diameter with the following inscription at the top: 'TI(berius) CLAUUDIUS. CESAR / AUG(ustus) GERMANICUS / PONTIFEX. MAX(imus) IMP(erator) V / CO(n)S(ul) III, TRIB(unicia) POTEST(ate), / III, P(ater) P(atriae) BRACA(ra) / XLII'. It has a small hole with a studded iron inside. It is 42 miles from Braga and was built by Emperor Claudius when he was improving Route IV of Antonio's itinerary.
It is also noted that it was moved to its present location in 1680."
