In 1880 legde Lena Maria Jonker de eerste steen voor Kaasboerderij Lena’s Hoeve. In 2010 hebben ze een nieuwe stal gebouwd. Het woongedeelte is in 2012 volledig herbouwd. En in 2018 is de nieuwe accommodatie ‘De Lena’ gebouwd, een mooie locatie voor Kinderfeestjes en vergaderingen.

Familiebedrijf
De Kaasboerderij en melkveehouderij is sinds 1912 een familiebedrijf.

Op het moment van 'posten' telt de veestapel 180 melkkoeien en 70 stuks jongvee. Verder hebben ze nog circa 20 schapen.

De koeien worden 2 keer per dag gemolken in de carrousel. In de caroussel is plaats voor 28 melkkoeien.
Een deel van onze melk wordt verkaast voor in hun winkel. Het andere deel wordt afgevoerd naar de fabriek.
