The runestone is a copy of the original Södertull Runestone which was moved from this location in 1895. The original has since been stored in the Trinity Church in Gävle.
The stone was moved and copied due to damage. However, the upper left corner was already missing in the 17th century, when the stone was first documented.
Inscription:
"Bruse lät resa denna sten efter sin broder Ihilp. Ihilp vart död i Tavstland. Han hade farit med Fröger. Hjälpe Gud och Guds moder hans själ. Sven och Asmund ristade runorna. Bruse förde då landsledung efter sin broder"
"Bruse had this stone erected after his brother Ihilp. Ihilp was killed in Tavstland. He had gone with Fröger. Help God and the Mother of God his soul. Sven and Asmund carved the runes. Bruse then led the country after his brother"
