"La programación del Corpus de València 2023 llega a sus días grandes este fin de semana. De hecho, los días 9, 10 y 11 de junio, la plaza de la Virgen será el epicentro de grandes actos tradicionales en los que la música, el baile y las representaciones teatrales serán los principales protagonistas en esta festividad que forma parte del patrimonio festivo de la ciudad y de la identidad valenciana.
Así, los actos principales arrancan este viernes, día 9 de junio, a las 20:00 horas, con el traslado de la Rocas a la plaza de la Virgen donde permanecerán expuestas. Más tarde, a las 23:30 horas, será el turno de la Nit d’albades i danses que partirán desde la plaza del Dramaturg Faust Hernández Casajuana y llegará hasta el Palacio Arzobispal por la plaza del Carmen, las calles Roteros, Serranos y Caballeros y plaza de la Virgen.
Un día después, el sábado día 10 de junio, esta emblemática plaza de València acogerá, a las 18:00 horas, la representación del Misterio de San Cristóbal, el Misterio del Rey Herodes y el Misterio de Adán y Eva. A continuación, la música inundará el espacio, en primer lugar, con el concierto del Grup de Dolçainers i Tabaleters El Cudol (19:30 h); y después con el concierto de la Banda Sinfónica Municipal de València, dirigida por Miquel Rodrigo.
Ya el domingo, día 11 de junio, los actos principales del Corpus de València se trasladarán a las calles del centro de la ciudad. Y es que se trata, sin duda, del día grande de la fiesta con la Cabalgata del Convite donde no solo el capellán de las Rocas invitará a la ciudadanía a la fiesta, sino donde las personas asistentes tendrán la oportunidad de ver personajes históricos y bailes tradicionales que participan en este desfile, como los nanos i gegants o la Moma que lucha contra los Momos, que representan los siete pecados capitales, entre otros.
Ya por la tarde, a las 16:30 horas, llegará el paso de las Rocas que, en esta ocasión, y debido a su mal estado, solo desfilarán dos de ellas; mientras que a las 19:00 horas arrancará la procesión general, que saldrá desde la puerta de los Apóstoles y continuará por la plaza de la Virgen, las calles Caballeros, Tossal, Bolsería, Mercat, María Cristina, San Vicente, plaza de la Reina, calle Mar, Avellanas, Palau y plaza de la Almoina."
