The metal drum has a wooden cut-out for the head, and front and rear legs - though the front legs appear to have been broken by the mottled painted foot locker at its feet. There is a slot for mail going in, and a flap on the side to retrieve the mail. A painted wooden tail is attached to the rear. It is placed in a fairly remote rural setting very worthy of such a Mailbox.
