Sund's cemetery surrounds the medieval stone church, Sund's church, on all sides, and lies very scenic next to Västra Kyrksundet.
In the cemetery there are new graves, but especially the many old grave monuments capture the interest. These consist of iron crosses in various versions, but also simpler stones. One of the old iron crosses has the following inscription:

Sund's church is Aland's largest stone church and was built in the latter part of the 13th century. The building style of the church is very similar to the churches on Gotland. The church was extended in several stages. In the 1300s, the church tower was extended.
Inside the church you can see several church paintings from the 14th century depicting various saints.
Sund´s Church belongs to the denomination The Evangelical Lutheran Church of Finland, which is the official name of Finland's largest religious community.
