The Spiegel Grotte (Mirror Grotto) can be found on the Museumsberg in Flensburg. According to the sign the cave was made in 1820

About the Spiegel Grotte (Mirror Grotto)
"The mirror grotto is located on the Museumsberg in Flensburg . It was built around 1823 on behalf of the West India merchant Andreas Christiansen jun. built. It was renovated in 2008-2009. It is an underground octagonal central building divided by pointed arches, which was formerly lined with 13 mirrors to make the chamber appear infinitely large. It is speculated whether this building was used for Freemasonry cults in Flensburg .

The mirror grotto is under monument protection"
