[FIN] Merikortteli / Sjökvarteret on historiallinen kortteli Ahvenanmaan keskuskaupungissa Maarianhaminassa, Österhamnin satama-alueella, Slemmernin rannalla. Kortteliin on sijoitettu muun muassa käsityötalo SALT, korupaja Guldviva sekä museo ja veneveistämö. Siellä sijaitsee myös vierassatama, jossa on yli 300-metriä pitkä laituri.
Tämän laiturin edessä on koristeltu salko, jonka huipulla on kyyhky oliivin oksa nokassaan. Sen on pystyttänyt paikallinen Rotary club.


[EN] Merikortteli / Sjökvarteret is a historical quarter in the central city of Åland, Mariehamn, in the harbor area of Österhamn, on the shore of Slemmern. Among others, the SALT craft house, the Guldviva jewelry shop, a museum and a boat sculpting workshop are located in the block. There is also a guest harbor with a pier over 300 meters long. In front of this pier is a decorated pole topped by a dove with an olive branch in its beak. It was erected by the local Rotary club. Designed by Anna Sundblom-Westerlund. See: (visit link)
