[FIN] "Kiukaaseen joutunut muovinen vesikauha suli ja aiheutti pienen palon maanantaina Laitilan uimahallissa.
Pelastuslaitos sai hälytyksen uimahallin miesten puolen saunatiloihin hieman ennen iltayhdeksää. Palo saatiin nopeasti sammumaan. Savua sen sijaan oli runsaasti.
Uimahalli oli sulkeutumassa, eikä kukaan tiloissa olleista henkilöistä loukkaantunut.
– Asiasta on tehty rikosilmoitus ja paloa tutkitaan vahingontekona, kertoo tutkinnanjohtaja, rikosylikonstaapeli Juha Heino Lounais-Suomen poliisista."
Tulipalosta uutisoitiin jo aiemmin samassa YLE verkkosivuilla. Myös monessa muussa mediassa uutisoitiin tästä tahallisesti vahingonteosta, josta aiheutui vaarallinen tulipalo.
[EN] "A plastic water bucket that got into the stove melted and caused a small fire on Monday in the Laitila swimming hall.
The rescue service was alerted to the sauna facilities on the men's side of the swimming hall shortly before 9:00 p.m. The fire was quickly extinguished. Instead, there was plenty of smoke.
The swimming pool was closing, and none of the people inside were injured.
- A criminal complaint has been filed and the fire is being investigated as an act of vandalism, says the head of the investigation, criminal police constable Juha Heino from the Southwest Finland Police."
The fire was reported earlier on the same YLE website. Many other media also reported on this deliberate act of damage, which caused a dangerous fire.
