Dentro del lavadero hay una pintura del pintor Toni Espinar reproducida de una foto realizada en 1954 de tres mujeres (reales) lavando la ropa en un antiguo lavadero que había cerca de este y que ya no existe; se da la circunstancia que la mujer situada en el centro falleció hace pocos años.
Lavadero cubierto a dos aguas, está en alto y hay que subir unas escaleras (debería ser bastante incomodo), debajo hay una balsa cerrada para recoger las aguas sobrantes. lavadero construido en 1960.
En el exterior hay una pintura de un reloj solar dedicado al “8 de marzo” y dos manos desgastadas por el trabajo que forman un triángulo “símbolo del movimiento feminista”, es un homenaje a la mujer trabajadora El lavadero se restauró en el 2018 y se encuentra en el Camí de Bèlgida, a unos cincuenta metros de la plaza del Llaurador.
