Mrs. Polliifax and the Hong Kong Buddha is the seventh book in the Mrs. Pollifax spy-mystery novels written by Dorothy Gilman. The series focuses on widow and senior citizen Emily Pollifax and her involvement with a series of spy novels in much the same mold and Murder She Wrote. In this outing Emily is recently married and living in their new home while it is being renovated. She receives a call from here CIA contact notifying her that the agent she had recruited in the previous book Mrs. Pollifax on the China Station is in trouble with an alleged double agent. Emily departs for Hong Kong immediately and many adventures through the streets and alleys of Hong Kong ensue concluding in a spectacular finish to Mrs. Polliifax and the Hong Kong Buddha.
