La serre adossée
Cette construction de 70 mètres de long était destinée à la protection, et au hâtage de végétaux en pleine terre. La serre se compose d’une structure légère, en bois et métal. La lumière naturelle et la température sont régulées par des châssis ouvrants. Un vestibule d’entrée empêche toutefois les brusques refroidissements. Des arbres « à noyaux » comme les pêchers y auraient fructifié au début du 20e siècle, puis dans les années 50 et 60, la serre abritait surtout la culture d’endives, de tomates et d’arums pour les bouquets de communion ou de mariage."
