A boulder with a bronze plaque placed by the Submit Clark Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution describes the events of May 24, 1704, at a time when the Connecticut River Valley has frontier settlements of the Massachusetts Bay Colony. Many of these settlements were subjected to raids by members if the native tribes. The plaque tells the of the fate to the early settles of the Pascommuck settlement.
