The Surf World museum is on the first floor of the building that is beside the Currumbin Bird Sanctuary (and Honey World). It has quite a large display of surfboards, running through a history of the shapes and lengths, and the fin shapes. There are also surfboards from some of the legendary surfers. There are also sections honouring specific Australian surfers. Ukuleles must be fairly coming in the beach culture, as there quite a collection of them.
