El ámbito territorial donde se localiza CEI·MAR, en la confluencia del Mar Mediterráneo y el Océano Atlántico, entre Europa y África y como puerta de América, es un enclave privilegiado para el desarrollo de la investigación marina y marítima desde un enfoque multi y trandisciplinar.
Para implementar una mejora dentro del eje «Mejora Científica y de Transferencia» y en concreto en la sección de investigación dentro del campus de excelencia se creó el Plan de Investigación Avanzada «reSEAarch»
Este Plan ha tenido como objetivo fortalecer e incrementar la calidad y la productividad científica de los investigadores del CEI·MAR, aumentar la proyección internacional de las actividades de investigación e incrementar su impacto en el tejido socio-económico, dinamizando a todo el conjunto de investigadores e instalaciones de excelencia CEI·MAR. Las acciones principales que han cubierto dicho plan son:
- Fomento de la realización de estudios de doctorado mediante la implementación de la Escuela EIDEMAR.
- Programa de incentivo a la investigación en cooperación internacional.
- Programas de apoyo a la carrera investigadora CEI·MAR mediante ayudas económicas.
- Premios de Investigación CEI·MAR.
The territorial area where CEI MAR is located, at the confluence of the Mediterranean Sea and the Atlantic Ocean, between Europe and Africa and as the gateway to America, is a privileged enclave for the development of marine and maritime research from a multi and transdisciplinary approach. . To implement an improvement within the axis "Scientific Improvement and Transfer" and specifically in the research section within the campus of excellence, the Advanced Research Plan "reSEAarch" was created.
This Plan has the objective of strengthening and increasing the quality and scientific productivity of CEI·MAR researchers, increase the international projection of research activities and increase their impact on the socio-economic fabric, energizing the entire group of CEI·MAR researchers and facilities of excellence.
The main actions covered by said plan are:
- Promotion of doctoral studies through the implementation of the EIDEMAR School.
- Program to encourage research in international cooperation.
- Support programs for the CEI·MAR research career through financial aid.
- CEI·MAR Research Awards.
