My daughter recieved a free ice cup on her birthday at Columbus in Scheveningen

NL Mijn dochter was jarig dus we hebben een leuk bezoek aan Scheveningen gebracht. We zijn even voor de lunch neergestreken bij Columbus. Heel lekker gegeten en een mooi restaurant. Achterin zag ik ook een typische Engelse rode telefooncel staan. Toen we de ober vertelden dat het de verjaardag van mijn dochter was, heeft hij heel lief een gratis ijsje aangeboden in een pinguin-beker, die we ook mochten meenemen. Dat werd vergezeld door het nummer ‘Gefeliciteerd’ van Bassie en Adriaan. Deze actie konden we echt waarderen en we hebben er weer een mooie herinnering bij.

Columbus is een sfeervol restaurant gelegen op een prachtige locatie aan het strand van Scheveningen. Terwijl u bij ons van een versnapering of iets te eten geniet, heeft u een prachtig plaatje van de zee en strand als achtergrond. Wilt u het beste zicht hebben op de jaarlijkse vuurwerkshow op het strand van Scheveningen? Dat kan heel gemakkelijk op ons terras. Het restaurant ligt precies tussen het Kurhaus en de Pier in, dus u zit eerste rang! Het is een goede plek om de dag fris en fruitig te beginnen of intiem af te sluiten.

ENG It was my daughter's birthday so we had a nice visit to Scheveningen. We settled down at Columbus just before lunch. Very good food and a nice restaurant. In the back I also saw a typical English red telephone box. When we told the waiter that it was my daughter's birthday, he very sweetly offered a free ice cream in a penguin cup, which we could also take with us. That was accompanied by the song 'Gefeliciteerd' (congratulations) by Bassie and Adriaan. We really appreciated this action and we have another nice memory.

Columbus is an attractive restaurant located at a beautiful location on the beach of Scheveningen. While you enjoy a snack or something to eat with us, you have a beautiful picture of the sea and beach as a background. Would you like to have the best view of the annual fireworks show on the beach of Scheveningen? You can do that very easily on our terrace. The restaurant is located exactly between the Kurhaus and the Pier, so you have a first-class seat! It is a good place to start the day fresh and fruity or to end it intimately.
