The Golden Lion is a popular hotel and pub in a former coach inn. It is next to a pedestrian only St. Mary's Street in downtown Weymouth. The front features a eye-catching life-size sculpture of a golden lion. The lion is standing on a black platform and is framed by a black oval. Above the oval is the inscription THE GOLDEN LION painted in green letters.
