The Herbert Hoover National Historic Site is located in the picturesque town of West Branch IA. His birthplace, boyhood home, Presidential Library and gravesite is located here.
At some point after the creation of the Hoover NHS, the local DAR chapter placed a marker here, but they neglected to put the date on the plaque.
The DAR marker is located in a nice tree-shaded seating area near the Hoover Birthplace exhibit.
