Café Tortoni has been selected by UCityGuides as one of the 10 most beautiful cafes in the world.

A beautiful frieze adorns the walls along the ceiling inside the cafe. Friezes are also present on the facade of the building.

Over the years the café has been visited by many renowned people including international figures like Albert Einstein, Federico García Lorca, Hillary Clinton, Robert Duvall and Juan Carlos de Borbón.
