Louis Leo Prima (1910 – 1978) was an American singer, songwriter, bandleader, and trumpeter.
New Orleans Musical Legends Park, formerly Edison Place, is a free, outdoor venue for live jazz performances. The park has tables and chairs and also sculptures and other tributes to the city's legendary music personalities. The artists who have their statue in the park next to that of Louis Prima are: Fats Domino, Pete Fountain, Al Hirt, Ronnie Kole, Chris Owens, Irma Thomas and Allen Toussaint.
