This is a huge city park in the center of Islamabad. It has a square shape with 2 km by side. There are plenty of gates to access this city park, but perhaps the nicest is the west gate.
It's also known as F9 park. Note that Islamabad is divided in quadricules, eash letter and number assigned to a specific neighborhood, but the park is so big it took a whole unit just for itself.
There are many attractions in it. Sports venues, a mosque, gazebos, ponds. There is even a solar power park.
It was designed by Michael Japero and inaugurated in 1992.
