"The club was founded in Almere on October 27, 1982 under the name Polmerians. Later, after a merger with Giants from Diemen, the name was changed to Almere Giants and shortly after that to Almere'82. In 1990, when moving to the new complex, the name was changed to Almere'90. As of 2021, the club name BSC Almere (Baseball & Softball Club) has been definitively adopted."
