Seit 2022 gibt es in der Bonner Fußgängerzone einen Schriftzug mit dem Bonner Stadtnamen. Er wurde auf dem Münsterplatz vor dem Beethoven-Denkmal enthüllt und hat seitdem schon öfters seine Position gewechselt. Bei meinem Besuch stand er auf dem Remigiusplatz vor der Skulptur Mean Average. Er wurde aber auch schon auf dem Marktplatz und zuletzt wieder auf dem Münsterplatz gesehen. Wie in vielen Großstädten ist er insbesondere bei Touristen ein beliebtes Selfie-Motiv.

Der Schriftzug besteht aus den großen, schwarzen Zeichen "#Bonn.", wobei das "o" durch einen roten Kussmund ersetzt worden ist. Der Bonner Kussmund wurde in den 1970ern in inoffiziellen Logos der Stadt verwendet und soll nun wiederbelebt werden. Entworfen und aufgestellt wurde der Schriftzug vom Verein City-Marketing Bonn e.V. in Koorperation mit der Stadt Bonn.
Since 2022 there has been a lettering with the Bonn city name in Bonn's pedestrian zone. It was unveiled on Münsterplatz in front of the Beethoven Monument and has changed position several times since then. When I visited, it was standing in front of the Mean Average sculpture on Remigiusplatz. But it was also seen on the Marktplatz and most recently again on the Münsterplatz. As in many large cities, it is a popular selfie motif, especially for tourists.

The lettering consists of the large, black characters "#Bonn.", whereby the "o" has been replaced by red kissing lips. The Bonn kissing lips were used in the city's unofficial logos in the 1970s and is now set to be revived. The lettering was designed and installed by the City-Marketing Bonn e.V. association in cooperation with the city of Bonn.
