[GER] Die Bille speist den Reinbeker Mühlenteich, der hier aufgestaut wurde. Früher war an dieser Stelle eine eine Mühle. Der Abfluß des Teiches ist U-Förmig oder Halbkreisförmig gestaltet. Das Wasser fällt hier etwa 2 m in die Tiefe um dann unter der Schloßstraße hindurch weiter Richtung Hamburg zu fließen. Eine kleine Brücke führt genau über den Wasserfall.
Die Bille entspringt bei Linau (N53° 38' 52?, E10° 27' 56?) und fliesst in Hamburg-Rothenburgsort bei der Brandshofer Schleuse (N53° 32' 25?, E10° 1' 28?) in die Elbe. Auf ihren runf 65km länge speist Sie unter anderem den Reinbeker Mühlenteich. Sie hat ein Einzugsgebiet von ca. 506,4 km² und ein Höhengefälle von 63m.
[ENG] The Bille feeds the Reinbek mill pond, which was dammed here. In former times there was a mill at this place. The outflow of the pond is U-shaped or semicircular. The water falls here about 2 m into the depth to then flow under the Schloßstraße through further direction Hamburg. A small bridge leads right over the waterfall.
The Bille rises near Linau (N53° 38' 52?, E10° 27' 56?) and flows into the Elbe in Hamburg-Rothenburgsort at the Brandshofer Lock (N53° 32' 25?, E10° 1' 28?). On its runf 65km length it feeds among others the Reinbek mill pond. It has a catchment area of about 506.4 km² and a gradient of 63m.
