DE: Am 16. Juni 2018 wurde die rote Telefonzelle, die zur öffentlichen Bibliothek umgebaut wurde, an der Katharinenkirche in Salzwedel eingeweiht. Von Spendengeldern und mit Unterstützung des Rotary Clubs konnte die Gemeinde eine gebrauchte Telefonzelle der Modellreihe K8 erwerben und anschließend in Eigenarbeit restaurieren. Der Bücherschrank hat Platz für etwa 200 Bücher und ist jederzeit zugänglich.

DE: On June 16, 2018, the red telephone booth, which was converted into a public library, was inaugurated at the Katharinenkirche in Salzwedel. With the help of donations and the support of the Rotary Club, the community was able to purchase a used telephone booth from the K8 series and then restore it themselves. The bookcase has space for around 200 books and is accessible at all times.
