A Danish woman is on holiday in the Mellieha Holiday Centre, but one day she is found murdered. It turns out that the murdered woman is the ex-wife of a Danish detective. He immediately travels to Malta with Police Inspector Ehlers to investigate the murder.
The two quickly come into contact with a drug gang and more bodies now start to appear. A Maltese family is suspected of cynical drug dealing, and the island's entire police force is deployed in the hunt for a killer.
