EN: These two chimneys stand next to a hiking trail that leads through the Pfynwald nature reserve between Leuk and Sierre.

The two chimneys are about ten meters high and have a ground plan of about one square meter. Towards the top they taper to about half the width. There are no other remains of the building.

Although the path is well documented and the immediate area around the chimneys is cordoned off for safety reasons, I have not found the slightest clue as to what once stood here. I suspect it was a plant that needed a lot of fuel, so it made sense to create it in the middle of the forest. A lime kiln would be possible. There is not enough clay in the area for a brickyard.
